Overview

Regnia is a strategic board game about rebuilding lands and forging alliances between animals. Players send groups of animals to restore villages, negotiate at ancient cromlechs, and compete for influence around sacred monuments

Gameplay

Choose between placing same animals in a village, placing a combination of different animals in a cromlech, or resting to place a monument die and renew your strengthEach animal — and each combination — carries a unique power, letting you shape regions, disrupt rivals, and prepare for monument scoring

Three Elegant Actions. Each of the three streamlined actions interlocks with the others, increasing your influence, fueling your next move and reshaping the balance on the mapStrategic Animal Stacking. Animals are placed in stacks, and both their type and order matter. This layered mechanic turns every placement into a tactical puzzle, as abilities can trigger powerful effects and shift control within regions.Tense Regional Competition. Each location has limited space, keeping the map tight and contested. Every move affects your rivals, forcing you to balance expansion and defense as you fight for dominance across nine regionsDynamic Monument Scoring. Monuments change each game, as asymmetric dice are rolled, introducing shifting scoring goals — from tallest stacks to most cubes or dominant animal types. This variability keeps every session fresh and strategically diverseInterconnected Regions. No region exists in isolation — actions in one area can shape outcomes in another. Through clever placement your influence spreads across the map, rewarding foresight and multi-layered strategy

On your turn perform one of three actions:Rebuild. Place one to three Animals of the same type to a village and trigger the special effect of that Animal in the RegionNegotiate. Place two different Animals to a cromlech and trigger the special effect of the Animal combination in one of the adjacent RegionsRest. Draw new animals from the bag. Choose one of the monument dice, roll it and place it in one of the monument spots between regionsAt the end of the game, players score victory points for each monument separately, based on the monument type and the regions adjacent to it
